Latz + Partner Lanschaftpark Duisberg-Nord, Germany
The park was part of a 10 year project set up by the state to regenerate the Ruhr region of North Germany a steel and coal industrial area. The design was to be a metamorphosis rather than an erasure of the past. Play and performance now happen in the Piazza Metallica, dancing on the grave of heavy industry.
