Elias Sime is a leading contemporary artists in Ethiopia. He is best known for his work using salvaged electronics to create imagined landscapes. Using computer keys, circuit boards, painstakingly braided electrical cables. He slows down the world through the very things that are constantly speeding things up. Along side the exhibition was a video documenting the wonderful Zoma museum and school he design full of playful texture, tradition colour. There was so lovely ideas for community engagement with the exhibitions themes in the workshop space.
