 This is a design that really comes to life at night. The two-story light features flowing through the space cast blocks of warm light, reflecting off the glass building facades and slicing through the trees. As the trees mature, I can imagine the interplay and hierarchy with the light features evolving. There is a real sense of propulsion through the space from end to end. The design reflects modern architecture and softens it with surging forms that reference the local landscape. However, the planters and planting feel token within the space. I would suggest that the design could be strengthened by their removal and by transforming them into more bespoke benches.
